'Twas the first night of the Expo

'Twas the first night of the Expo, and all through the bustling crowd,

People were spending their Lindens, not just to get things, but for a purpose so proud.

The 13th Annual Christmas Expo, dedicated to the American Cancer Society,

Raising funds for childhood cancer, spreading love and charity.

The Expo doors were wide open, ready to welcome all,
A magical wonderland adorned with lights, standing proud and tall.
Stalls filled with toys and trinkets, gifts for everyone to buy,
Each purchase not only bringing joy but wiping tears from many an eye.
Santa's workshop displayed toys, crafted with love and care,
Volunteers worked diligently, spreading kindness everywhere.
Children's laughter echoed through the regions, filling hearts with glee,
For this Expo was not just about the presents, but the spirit of empathy.
The warmth of holiday spirit filled the air, a feeling so serene,
As visitors explored the Expo, each booth a joyous scene.
Artisans displayed their talents, crafting works of art,
Supporting the cause, with every sale warming souls and mending hearts.
The scent of fresh baking wafted through the air,
Cookies, pies, and gingerbread houses, all handmade with care.
Bakers donated their goods, filling bellies and spreading cheer,
Supporting the fight against cancer, the reason they held dear.
Around every corner, a surprise awaited those who came,
Performers showcased their skills, sharing their talent and fame.
Musicians played melodious tunes, filling hearts with delight,
Sing-alongs and carolers, making the Expo feel merry and bright.
As the night grew older, the donations continued to pour,
For the cause was more significant than any monetary score.
The Lindens spent that night were not just a game,
But a lifeline to those battling cancer, each one carrying a name.
'Twas the first night of the Expo, a night of generosity and love,
An event not soon forgotten, blessing many from above.
As the Expo continued its journey, spreading hope throughout the land,
Together, they raised funds, hand in hand.
So, remember this tale of the first night of the Expo, dear friend,
For it reminds us that in giving, we can help heal and mend.
Let us support those in need, especially during this season,
For through unity and kindness, we can offer hope without reason.
